Why did you decide not to use a hair dryer to remove the broken part?

I'm m not really bothered if the wireless charging does not work so if i dahed the part does the phone still work otherwise?

If I break the nfc/wireless charging module's flat cable in the process, can I replace that module just from the back as well? Or does it require removing the screen to access the NFC antenna terminal on the other side of the PCB?

I can agree with you that this is really a pain in the a** and as you did i was also trying heating up, using alc 99,99% and many other options, but neither worked. So the simple method was using a plastic thin card. In that way the card will bend under the screen (where the bezzle is) and on this way you can easy cut trough the glue. Of course you have still to be carefull to not touch the inner screen so cut slightly the glue from the side after you are able to lift it and don't force, take your time. I had to be patient about a hour to remove the screen without any damage. I will prefer to start from the top and cut from middle to left and right and then pick up the right side and at least the bottom. At this point the screen will lift up like a door and you can remove it by gently pulling up. Still good luck for your next project and it's a shame what Samsung is doing here. The best reparable Phone of this Models was Fold3 and of course Fold4 is better becouse of the material and the front screen is now as it should be from the begining, but the glue was not nessesary to be that strong. It is improving in a good but also bad way. And there are still issues from Day one with the flex cables and also with the dust between the hinges so it would stop opening up to 100%. It is a shame for a company like samsung in so many years they couldn't fix some simple issues with the phone and it would be so mutch better, it could...

if you heat the bottom of the frame enough you can take apart the whole wireless charging part with the magnets still attached. saves you having to superglue it later. Also before you open the iPhone 14 back glass you should remove the bottom Penta lobe screws so that the glass can come off easily.

Hey brother, one question I just had my IP 15 pro max back glass changed and when I turn on the flash the light sort of runs thru the whole camera glass and the camera glass isn’t curved, and the guy told me it’s the most accurate back glass there was, any thoughts?

Excellent video. I’ve seen other tear downs for the IPhone 14 where they removed the front screen and had extra steps. Your video convinced me I can just remove the back screen and be okay. Will be doing my battery replacement soon!

ReinstallING everything seems like it's always the hardest. Shame on you for skipping that part. Overall great video tho. Wish I watched this before I was ready to do the job. I have to get the adhesive and clamps. I plan on using b7000 instead of double sided tape for the battery.. is that ok? I don't trust people with my phone so diy is right up my alley. Plus I bought a new screen that has a green dot from ebay for only $100. Idk how much you charge but my guess is $250-$350 for 20 minutes of work.
